I believe this abuse is because of the battles of phone companies fighting for what they call spectum i think they all need their spectrum shoved right back up their *** in their face for National Corruption Abuse and Harassment. unless well all turn the spy wear on them.
It is the same credit card interest rate reduction scam. Prerecorded. Will leave message on answering machine if you don't pick up. Call all hours and if that doesn't work, will use a privately registered land line to bypass rules regarding hours of contact. I don't even own a MC card and never have. JERKS!!!!
Received call from this number at 4:30 PM. Same company calling about lowering my credit card rate. No use to try and block the number as they just keep calling back on another number. Have filed at least 20 complaints with the FTC but does no good. The Do Not Call Registery is the biggest joke going. It does nothing to stop these scum telemarketers. They just ignore the Do Not Call Registery. Thank God for Caller ID. If a call comes in from outside my area code, I simply do not pick the phone up. It grips me, however, that I have to stop what I am doing to go to the phone to see who is calling - only to discover it is some scum telemarketer.
