I received a call from an unknown number on 09/13/2010 which was a recording. The recording promised a vacation to Orlando, Fl or Vegas, NV for touring a property in Williambsburg, VA. It said you had to be a couple making at least $50k a year. My number is on the do not call registry. At the end of the recording it gave you an option to leave your name. I left my name and a gentleman called me today from 407-507-3800. He claimed to be with Holiday Vacations. I told him that my number was on the do not call registry at which point he simply lost it. He started cursing me out and threatening me. He said that he knew where I live...The best I can figure this is a timeshare. I have already reported this to the do not call registry.

This guy called me too today. Pretty much same story like Igor's (looks like I'm not the first and most likely not the last). All he wanted was to talk and say his little part and for you not to ask any questions at all, just hand over your address. When I started asking questions, he blew up. But worse than he blew up with Igor. First time he told me when I was asking questions about the airfare and hotel and what the catch is.. He goes.. "you must be the most miserable woman. Good luck to who lives with you B****". And he hung up the phone. I was shocked that he would talk like that to me, how do they expect to convince people to go to their little presentations when they talk like that to us?
Well, that really irritated me, so I called him back. He said "F*** You B****!!!!" And he hung up again, but the tone of his voice was just bad, he was yelling at the top of his lungs and was very angry. So I called back again and he said "B****, you can keep on calling and I will still say F*** You B****!!!" And wouldn't let me get a word in. I called again and it just went to his answering service. I left him a message- hope my message got loud and clear to him. I however chose not to name call him like he did to me.
I get you're trying to sell something, times are tough, you make money based on comission, but that's not the way to go talking to people like that. And when I googled his number and found Igor's post, I was shocked. This guy must do this to everyone who doesn't play the game his way. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!
Got a "restricted" call yesterday, went to recording offering a vacation package, etc, and asked for a name, which I gave, but a ficticious one. Next day, I receive a garbled call from 407-507-3800, a man's voice promised to call back later. He did just now, from "restricted" again, I immediately called the 407-507-3800 and heard the same voice, which immediately started in on the "F...ng''
I also received the call from that number however my experience was totally different. The person who i spoke with was very proffesional and courteous. Yes i went on the Timeshare tour ( I did not purchase anything) and i received a 3 day mini vacation to Las Vegas. This was a month ago . We were very pleased and we recieved everything the gentleman promised us.. even a 100.00 dinner at a great Italian Restaurant. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
This is a Time Share scam. And the solicitor running it is named Mark Mason at Vacation Getaways in Reunion, Florida. Immediately report his call to the FCC at www.fcc.gov. In the search box put Form 1088G-R or Wireless Do Not Call List calls. Fill out the lengthly form and REPORT THIS COMPANY!
