claimed to be an IRS agent. threatened with me arrest for unpaid taxes. NOTE: the IRS will never call, but starts with a letter. The number appeared on my caller ID. I blocked my number (*67) and called back. He answered and confirmed that he was an IRS agent and I told him . . .!! I posted the number on social media so everyone will call and block his line.

I got a call today from the same number and they left a partial pre-recorded voice message. I called them back with my phone number blocked and they refused to identify themselves until I called with the number unblocked. Appears to be, as others have stated, an IRS scam. Doing a little research, I found out that the Treasury Department is treating this as a serious matter and they have set up a yellow highlighted block near the top of their website to report it. It was a recorded message of a male voice which said it was from Ann Wilson of the IRS and that there was an arrest warrant in my name. To prevent any further action I was suppose to call 407-547-1001. The 407-547 prefix is listed as being in Lake Mary, Florida. Complaints can also be filed with the FTC at their website FTC.gov.
