several calls from this number, even back to back at different times up to 8pm. I had received too many calls from unknown numbers that as mentioned above, other line hangs up when you answer so I don't anymore! And yes, the no call list is apparently worthless!
Got a call on my cell, I didn't answer, no message. I called the number from my office and repeatedly got a message in a heavy Indian accent "I'm sorry we are experiencing heavy call volume, an agent will be with you shortly" over and over and then it just went quite. Still on with them, but no answer.
this same thing just happened to me. Got a call on my cell, I didn't answer, no message. I called the number from my office and repeatedly got a message in a heavy Indian accent "I'm sorry we are experiencing heavy call volume, an agent will be with you shortly" over and over and then it just went quite. And then it just hung up! I called identity thief right after and they said it was smart doe. they track you! get help soon .
Called and they hung up. No caller ID info so I let it go. They left no voice message. Now days always check out un known numbers. Thanks. For comments people leave.
Caller ID = "Florida" and I did not pick up.
Don't answer, don't call back. Blocking is worthless.
The same goes for junk E-Mail. NEVER use Unsubscribe unless you initiated the e-mail. Use Rules to move/delete unwanted mail.
Once they know your Phone Number or E-Mail address is real, they sell it.
In my contacts list, I created a phone entry called ZZZ and move the questionable numbers into it. It also has a soundless ringtone.
I figured that ZZZ would show next time any of these numbers are used to call me. After a year and over 150 phone numbers, I rarely see ZZZ on the incoming call. Maybe it happened 3 times and figured these people were legitimately selling something.
Blocking doesn't work and probably explains why the "Do Not Call" registry doesn't work either.
