That won't help. I'm in Illinois, and I get a call from this number every day or two.
Also, look through the list of posts here, and see all the different places that are
getting calls from this number. What makes you think that a mobile phone will
shield you ? ?
Before I discovered that my new cell phone has a "blacklist" for incoming calls I started the following (and still use it). I put a contact in my directory named "Do Not Answer - Telemarketer". The ring tone I have assigned to that contact is "NO RINGTONE". I currently have about 35 phone numbers assigned to that "contact". When a call comes in to that contact, my phone doesn't ring and they are sent directly to voice mail. If I accidently put a friend's new legitimate phone number in my telemarketer list, they can leave me a voice message and I can remove their number from the "Do Not Answer" contact list and update their genuine contact listing.
First of all, never buy into a TIMESHARE. If you ever want to unload it, it is impossible to do so. Rarely does anyone else want to buy it. The resort will not help you sell it. You can write the resort and ask them to let you deed the timeshare back to them. Sometimes this works but may not. They want the maintenance fees which go on forever. It is time for Congress to put these people out of business. Once you buy into a timeshare, there is no provision to sell it back. If it is a popular resort, you may be able to deed it back to them but you will get no money.
