407-930-9175 called us on 01/05/2015.
In a very rude way, by name of one of our household members, the caller insisted on speaking with that person.
When he was asked for his name, all that he would say was Anthony. But, he would not give his last name and he would not say which company that we was calling for. Turned out that this was a scammer that had gotten our number from a call list where we had purchased a vacation package three years earlier. From everything that I can tell, this very rude-dude felt the need to see if he could SCAM us out of money. We tried to call the number back multiple times; to insist that our number be taken off of their call list and each attempt to call back only resulted with a "busy signal". Beware! Beware! BEWARE!!!
I have a close family member who served time in Florida for a minor drug offense. When prisoners are close to release they are supposed to get work release. Usually they are hired by telemarketing companies that pay them practically nothing to get rejected all day while trying to deliver scripts to whomever picks up the phone. This saves the start from having to actually do something constructive to prepare them for productive lives. They fish for people who will answer their land lines, which usually means people who are older and easier to touch. I think this explains most of the unpleasantness associated with these calls.
Rudest phone call ever from (407) 930-9175, person (male) refused to identify himself or his business unless he spoke to my husband. Claimed we have an account with them and that he has money coming. When my husband got on the line and asked what this is about the guy accused him of rudeness and hung up. Confirmed our suspicions of telemarketing.
