Automated call recording about Disney vacations.
Got to a sales person and told him I was on Do Not Call registry.
He basically said he didn't believe me. The whole "If I had a penny for every time I heard that" line.
"You have just won a vacation..." Press 1 if interested, 2 if not. I pressed "1," woman answered "Orlando Welcome Center," I asked name of company, she asked "Oh, are you on the Do Not Call list?" "Yes, have been for months and years." "Oh, your number must have slipped through. Sorry, we won't call again."
Received call from this # just a few minutes ago. Automated recording about winning vacation, press 1 for...etc. Live woman came on line: "Orlando Vacations" or something similar. I began to tell her to remove my ph# from their calling records. She hung up before I could finish sentence.
Just received a call from this number. It was a live person asking me about the warranty on the car I owned 3 years ago. I told him I no longer owned the car. He asked what my current model is, and I told him it didn't matter because I didn't need a warranty. He seemed surprised and said that having a warranty is really important, and I said yes, I currently have one and don't need another one. Then he hung up on me.
I am on the Do Not Call list but still receive Disney Vacation calls from this number. When I attempt to call the number back I get the phone company generated "Out of Service" recording.
