Caller didn't leave any message, so I called back and the person who answered said I made a loan on line and I have never made a loan on line. Just another Scam to try any scare the elderly into payiong money to them. The FBI should look into these types of Scams!!!!
its a scam i got a call from this number today asking to speak with my wife. the guy said his name was chris bennett. supposedly he was calling from simmons smith and associates. it was for a loan that i never applied for over the internet. once i asked for a case number and why we never got subpena he hung up.
THESE PEOPLE CALLED ME CLAIMING TO BE SIMMONS & SMITH ASSOCIATES STATING THAT I OWED THEM MONEY FROM A LOAN THAT I NEVER TOOK OUT WITH "PAYDAYYES". THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO SEND THEM MY 6 MONTHS PREVIOUS BANK STATEMENT IN ORDER TO PROVE TO THEM THAT I NEVER TOOK OUT OUT AND THAT IT NEVER GOT DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT. THEY KNEW MY DL# AND ACCOUNT NUMBER....SCAREY! I CONTACTED THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND THEY TOLD ME WHAT TO DO. REPORT THESE PEOPLE...IT IS A SCAM!
