Recv'd call, answered and each time it is trying to sell me insurance on my credit card. Told them to remove me from their list but have done that to no avail. I am registered with the do-not call list so am not sure why I keep getting them.Orlando, Fla
They called my home phone at 7:30 pm and it was a recording saying that it was a call about my credit card and was very urgent. It said that there wasn't a problem with my card as of yet, but I needed to speak with them to see if I can lower my interest rate. So I pressed 9 to make sure it wasn't really about a real card (I figured it was a scam), and to tell them to take me off their list. When the lady answered, she asked me what card I wanted to lower the rate on, whether it was Mastercard or Visa, and the account number. Seriously? They really think that they can pull that off? Who would be that dumb? So I asked her what their company name was and she hung up.
Call and wanted to lower our credit card interest rate because of our excellent credit score. We gave him our card number and all info when he started asking for our bank acct info I knew something was wrong. We hung up and immediately called the credit card company to confirm the call was from them. Nope it was a scam the credit card company closed our account and reissued us a new card. Beware of this number!
Call requesting credit card information to get me lower interest rate on my credit cards for life. The man said his name was Kenneth Joseph and gave me an employee number of 26301. Said he would connect me with a financial lawyer, but came back and said no one was available right now and they would call me back in a few minutes.
