Have been getting calls from this number for a couple of weeks, never answer, but today I did. First time there was nobody on the other end.
Second time the phone rang (within 60 seconds of when I answered the first call) I decided to have some fun instead of getting all angry and worked up.
I used my best "Old lady with dementia voice" and here's what happened:
Me: Hello? Hello? Judy, is that you? (I hear the phone line open up to a real person instead of dead air)
Female voice: Hello? May I speak with (my name)?
Me: Judy, is that you?
Female voice: (my name)? Is this (my name)?
Me: Judy? Is that you? How's your mom dear?
Female voice: Oh, she's doing fine, sounds like you were sleeping. I'll call back later. <click>
Me: Judy? Judy? hahahahahahaah!
If I ever get one to stay on the phone long enough, I plan on regaling him or her with graphic details on my latest hemorrhoid operation and the resulting bowel problems it's causing.
