If you hold on and wait, a telemarketer from "Online Pharmacy" will come on the line. They will claim to have an account for you and try to sell you prescription drugs. Viagra, etc. If you tell them to take you off their list, they hang up.
I answered my phone "FBI", but the person calling barely could say Hello in English, so she did not catch on. I have reported so many numbers to the FCC, but these companies are still around, doing business. The FCC also states on their website that "robo" calls (automatic dialers) are NOT LEGAL, no matter if your number is on the Do Not Call List.
This call - and others like it - keep coming on my teen's phone. Wish there was a way to make them stop. Every once in a while she answers one, either out of curiosity or accidentally. This one went to voicemail, which meant we had to call to retrieve it.. but when I called for message, it was just dead air. GRRRR!
Called regarding prescriptions. I asked him not to call. He asked what am I going to do about it. I said I would report him. He responded by telling me to go right ahead because they won't do anything.
