I got a call a while back, and being the jerk that I am, I spoke with the "closer," had no intention on using the service but kept using up his time, rescheduling, etc. (I was multi-tasking; sometimes you need to have fun at work!) Basic idea is that they build a website for you and rent it out to you for so much a month ($50 maybe?). I am pretty sure you do not own the site, and if you become reliant on it they probably have the rights to hold you over a barrel, i.e. increase your monthly rate when you need to renew or whatever. Also, I think the site with search features is something MLS provides you anyhow.
It is not anything to get bent out of shape about, just not a particularly good service. Some might be willing to pay to not have to think and have someone else develop a site for them (the examples looked nice enough), but I never would do it. It is a scam in the same way getting repairs at the dealership vs. a certified mechanic is...
I got a call today from this number. I guarantee they are calling off of craigslist. I am a property owner and have 3 listings on there. A pathetic business plan!
