this indian man also left me message with a call back number of 408-310-4044, the caller id came in as 875-820-6274, he also mention something about my family, does he think we are stupid ..
I just received a voicemessage and text from the #4083104044. They also texted me saying its very urgent legal matter. They told me that they are a law firm and they have a case against me for the money not returned and that I should call my attorney before talking to them. They also said that the lawyers will reach my residential address and take me in to custody until the court date.. I freaked out and am completely unclear what this call is abt. When I googled this number, I came across this website...[***] people all over! Its a Scam! some ppl have too much time on their hand!
I have recieved numerous phone calls. The person calling does speak with an accent. He states I have unsolved legal matters and leaves 408-310-4044 as the call back number. When I call back he states I have failed to repay a payday loan and the legal team will be at my house to discuss this matter with me. When I tell him I have not taken a loan he tells me to take it up with the legal team and hangs up on me. When I try to ask any questions I get hung up on.
You can add my coworker and I to the list of those who've encountered these maggots. My buddy started getting calls at work a couple of months ago with exactly the same scenario as is described above. It was obvious from the get-go that anyone calling an American and threatening arrest for an outstanding debt was full of it. Debtors prison went out with Ebaneezer Scrooge. Nobody goes to jail for debt in the US in the 21st century.
After a few initial calls with zero response from my friend they stopped calling. Since then it's happened twice more, including today. In fact, we had a little sport messing with these morons when they called. And call they did - they were quite persistant calling back at least five times. Each time becoming more rude, abusive, and demanding. We just laughed and gave it right back to them. I hope there haven't been too many others who've fallen prey to this crap.
I have receive a call from this phone nmmber 408-310-4044. This person asking for my attorney. I do not have attorney. This person speak Indian. I believe this number is scan. I am not calling this back because I have receive other calls from a different phone number from this same person before. This person is very threating and absuive. He is able to provide documents for anything that he said. This call like to call under a private number so you can not get the number. This call use different names and give false information to you. These people keep call me at work.
