Despite being on the do not call list, we're still getting called from this cell phone/wireless caller number. They are still in business of some scam in march of 2012.
It was something about credit cards. I asked them to take me off their list. The guy said they are not the ones who called me (I answered the phone so it was them.) After telling him he was the one who called me, he then said he would like french toast and eggs each morning. He then hung up on me. I tried to call back, but of course they don't answer the phone.
Called today. They have to change their number frequently now. It's all a scam & very hard to track them down due to VOIP spoofing. They don't work out of the US. Don't bother telling them to take you off their list. They don't care about the DNC list since their entire operation is illegal & they know it.
Called yesterday. The person I talked to identified the company as "cardmember services" and said that I was elligible for a reduced interest rate on my credit cards.
Called my home , then told me about how I could get a reduced rate on my American Express card.. When I told them I did not have this credit card , I was called a liar and that they simply where calling to help .. Then they proceeded to hang up
Caller ID reported this number as "Wireless Caller". I didn't answer, and they hung up after 3 rings. I *67'd the number and called it back, and it said the person I was trying to call was unavailable (much like the message you get when someone doesn't have voicemail on their cell phone set up).
