Despite being on the do not call list, we're still getting called from this cell phone/wireless caller number. They are still in business of some scam in march of 2012.
I would like to share another pc of information though, which seems to be appearing on here more often: ever since I registered on DNC, call have increased daily. My advice is NOT to register as it seems to be the SOURCE. Ask your representatives what is going to be done about this.....it seems that no one is ever punished for anything any more.
BESOMIST.......I am in total agreement with you! We've got criminal behavior rampant in our own government. Let's get the violators out of office and replace them with officials who WILL uphold our laws AND THE CONSTITUTION! This issue is just one small indication of where the country is headed if we don't CHANGE it back!!!
I changed my outgoing message to a long drawn out fake one, this causes the callers to assume its a mental care facility and they hang up, I was getting calls for credit cards for other people and trying to track someone who was investigated for fraud.
I have been inundated with an UNBELIEVABLE amount of telemarketing calls on my landline as well as both cellular phones. These calls come in at all hours of the day and up to and past 9 p.m. at night. I've tried calling back some of the numbers and find they are for various agencies, some of which don't exist. I have all three telephone numbers on the DO NOT CALL list and it makes no difference - my mother and I are being HARRASSED and I want it stopped.
I just tried to call this number back, recieved at 10:26 a.m. March 5, 2012 and a male "bot" said "Please call back". I will continue to report these companies until SOMEONE does something about them! They are costing me money on the cell phones (I pay by the minutes) and are most ANNOYING on the home phone. I fell off a ladder about 2 months ago in an attempt to run and answser the telephone - who was a TELEMARKETEER. I am 100% disabled, my mother is 90 years old, and we do NOT NEED THIS NONSENSE.
