I got the same email after I inquired about his Craig's List job posting. His phone number was at the bottom of the email. I'm curious that he could open a prepaid UPS account. The problem with accepting payments from this type of scammer is that the check that "cleared" today will turn out to be a fraud after a couple of weeks, and then you have to repay the funds from your own account.
I called this guy because i got a reply from him regarding a job offer. He said that he is in Australia doing business and that he needed someone to take care of his business here in California. I asked him if he is a US resident and he stated yes. I ran his phn number in 411.com and it shows he lives in San jose Ca. I looked up his name and it shows no James Huffy residing in that city. I definitely think he is trying to get peoples indentity do to him asking for personal information. Don't deal with guy!!!
This guy is definitely a con artist ! He sent me a check which I deposited in my checking account and a few days later it turned out to be a fraudulent check. My bank froze my account, in the meanwhile I had written out checks which bounced. I was charged $120.00 ! This [***] is scum.
