got a call from this number twice today...hung up on me as soon as I answered both times.The name with it said "student success".I've been getting these calls alot lately from scammers and con-artist.make sure if you do talk to them to ask what company they are with,their name,and while you are talking to them look up the # on here.
I got a call from 408-418-5523 and they said they were a Student Advancement and I looked thm up ( www.student-advancement.com ) I didn't understand why they were calling my private cell asking for my daughter. I asked if she had registered with an companies about her going to school or given my phone number out and she said no. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. I am reporting them to the State Attorney Generals Office.
This number has been calling me for a couple weeks. Everytime I answer they hang up. I could hear that they are still on the line but then they hang up without saying anything.
I just got a call from this number, and since they have been calling a lot lately, pushed "ignore" and sent it straight to voice mail. Not 2 minutes later, my phone said I have a new message, I checked it, and what came on was actually disturbing.
It was mans voice, but it sounded distorted, and extremely slow. and it kept going on and on. I could never actually tell what he was saying.
