got a call from this number twice today...hung up on me as soon as I answered both times.The name with it said "student success".I've been getting these calls alot lately from scammers and con-artist.make sure if you do talk to them to ask what company they are with,their name,and while you are talking to them look up the # on here.
i'm the only person i know who gets the calls. they don't come at regular business hours. they've been freaking me out, so i googled the number and saw the forum. after reading what i did, i had someone else pick up for me and tell me what was said. just blank. they hung up after 15 seconds. called someone else that knows a lot about phones and hackers and stuff in general, and he said that it might be some international hacker joke. nothing to worry about, he said.
I recieved a call on my cell phone, I heard noise in the background and then they simply hung up. I do not know anyone with this number either land line or cell phone. My wife said she recieved calls from this numer in the past week where they did the same thing. I would greatly appreciate it if there was a way to have this person's phone disconnected and them charged with harrassment.
Got this numbers missed call while I was at dinner at 7pm 6/18/10. Didn't answer and it left no voicemail. Isn't 408 a arizona number? I live in orange county, ca!
I received a call on my cell from a younger man that said he wanted to help me with college. I said I wasn't interested to which he replied, "You dont even know what I am going to offer you. Why?". So I asked him what he had to off, then I was told I won money...Come on really LOL. I told him he was full of it and to never call again. How often do you win money from a supposedly college recruiting call center. I wish I would have gotten the name of the company.
