"Mike" called our office, said he was with Inside Up GPS. Loud noises in the background made it pretty hard to hear him. The person he asked for was out at lunch, I offered to take a message and he rudely hung up. Guess I know who we WONT be doing business with! :D
lots of background noise, mispronounced Michael as mickel, asked for ops manager, when told he was in a meeting and I would take a message, said he would call back. which he did, two minutes later. same thing. guess I'll be blocking this number!
Got a call again today from Gary. Same # on the caller ID. Sounded like he was calling from a factory. Very loud! Wanted the person in charge of 'Transportation'. Played the back and forth game of trying to get down to brass tacks. He finally told me it was for GPS on the vehicles. Said not interested again.
Looked through my call logs... yup! this same company called before back in January.

I just received a call from this number 408 512 2920 asked to speak with my Boss, said he was from Inside Up? I gave him his voicemail called back and said he asked to speak with my Boss but got voicemail then asked who I was and what I did I felt like telling him he had reached the shire and was talking to a hobbit in charge of reservations, then he asked for the IT Dept put him through got their voicemail and hung up. Well I'll put him through to Bilbo next time.
CID still appears the way it did the first time I reported it.
Did not identify himself or his company.
He asked for out CFO by name. I transferred him, but he rang back to me after getting his voicemail and not wanting to leave one. He then asked for his assistant (that would be me), decided I wasn't going to work, then asked for IT.
I prompted him for a name. He didn't have one, so I offered him our junk email. He had the CFO's email already (I assume he pulled it off google, of just guessed it, we don't have a complicated email naming system).
He also tried to confirm information like what OS we use, how many emplyees we have, where we're located.
Just, weird.
