Ok so this guys has called my Cel four to five times a day> I tried asking them to quit or remove my number....no effect. They offer a voice mail option to remove your number from "their call list" but recording says "mail box is full"....go figure.
How to stop them from calling your number - After I played with them and wasted their time they have not called my phone any more.....YEAH!
I WOULD THINK YOU NEED TO GET PAST THE FIST GUY AND GET TO THE SECOND TO REALLY WASTE THEIR TIME TO GET YOUR NUMBER REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST.
I put up with this crap of of them calling 4-5 times a day for 2 days so on 3rd day I was ready to stop this and I started playing with them to understand their plan. I found that the first guys will ask for your personal Visa / MC exp date and home zip code (he will ask for a home address but will accept just yoru zip code). Another man then comes on the line and will ask for your 16-digit credit card number claiming he needs this to add the $200 dollars to your card. In my case I had a pre=paid VISA I use for online gaming and I used this empty vanila gift card to keep his scam going which hopefully if they take the $1.20 off the card and I will have a real address to file non-recpit claim.
The first person I spoke with sounded maybe Indian but said his name was Kevin Jones, said he worked for Moblie Support and his employee number (so he would get credit for call) was 928-52.
I have a plan to deal with these scammers -
My plan was to waste his time, say if everyone they called was to just "play along". It is maybe 2-4 people working on his end, they used recorded back ground sound to make it sound like more but if you act deaf they will turn the back ground sound down. They most likely work a 12 hour day (maybe 8am-8pm) and on just one call I wasted 30 min. of their time.
DO NOT give them a real credit card number and DO NOT make one up, just give them 15 digits and keep saying your card only has 15 numbers on it. They sounded very dumb, second guy was even a little pushy about getting the card number so I had to take extra time to play with him since he is the money guy who doesn't have time to waste. I used simple lines like - it looks like a 3 but it might be an 8 wait while I get my glasses, I read the same numbers twice then told him I did...etc. Tell them you have a special card that only has 15 numbers so no one can steal your credit....lol
They will ask for you mailing address, I told them I did not have one and they didn't care just so long as I had a credit card and a zip code. I gave him a Califorina zip code, he said it should be a Arkansas zip based on my phone number but I told him I live in CA and my phone is from AR.
My plan is to waste their time like they waste mine and in the end they will remove my number from their call list which at this time seems to have worked.
They have been calling me everyday at least 10 times each day. It is the same story about a gas voucher. They say they are from Phoenix Arizona but won't even give me a company name. I've asked to be removed from the call list many times but they keep calling back.

I've been getting calls from these weirdos for the past two days. They call me every hour as early as 9 am to as late as 6 pm. They're really getting on my nerves. I just added my number to their quote "do not call" list so hopefully they won't call again. Keeping my fingers crossed.
great plan. i have been called by that number all morning long and now i think i will do as you did. i just happen to have a prepaid m.c with maybe 1.00 on it i will use if asked for a c.c.....its very annoying to answer and have them hang up. and how convenient they have a full mail box. thanks for the idea
