I received the call from this number yesterday. The message left on my voicemail stated twice "this is not a sales call" and proceeded to tell me about a lawsuit for an "unresolved matter (I) have neglected" so any return from my taxes will be "suspended." They said to call 1-888-607-9215 to discuss "voluntary options." They used the name Delta Group. I admit it gave me pause for a minute because my car lease is from Delta Imports. But I don't owe them anything. And then I realized the same as CWG40 above that if an actual lawsuit had been filed I would have been notified by letter or summons or something other than a phone call from a third party. I've lived at the same address for over 5 years and same phone number for over 10 so any attorney would have no problem finding me. So any notice they needed to send me of a lawsuit would definitely have made its way to me!
Someone needs to put this MANIAC behind bars!!!! Mark Collins of "Delta Group" wacko !!!! I already posted this under another number they use: 408-617-5526...It all started with a very aggressive automated message yesterday, January 9, 2017, indicating my IRS Refund has been put on STOP...and that I Must speak with an agent immediately to resolve the issue...or something like that....Mark then proceeded to tell me that Wells Fargo had placed a criminal suit against me based on an outstanding debt of over 8K and that he was giving me THREE days to PAY HIM to avoid being summoned to COURT - and he said this was treated as a FELONY... I told him My bankruptcy was discharged back in 2015...this jack claimed that Wells Fargo hired him as private investigator to locate me since they were unable to find me... (I had moved over a year ago)...after I told him my Bankruptcy was discharged he said that doesn't matter... he said that bankruptcy is a civil case, and that Wells Fargo is indicating I am a criminal and that this is a criminal case ... I insisted on more information on this bizarre accusation... he said the criminal suit against me was based on the final 90 days of the card indicating that those funds were pulled out with no intention to repay... or something on those lines... I insisted that he informed me what address he now supposedly had on file since "Wells Fargo" didn't know... So that I would receive this so called Summons coming from Wells Fargo... He put me on hold and didn't get back with me. I then proceeded to call Wells Fargo who gave me the number to the next company that purchased the debt...who then gave the name and number to the last company that had purchased the debt...ALL indicated they have NO IDEA who this creep is and that the debt had been closed out and had not been resold by the last company I spoke with. I called this Mark Collins back and told him shame on him...and that Wells Fargo had NO involvement with him...Then he called me an idiot and that the debt had been sold and it was that group that was going after me... he began to call me a criminal and "You People this and You People that" and at one point told me to "Go enjoy a [***] Pot Roast"...and said now he was going to call this so called company to insist that they sue me and take me to court... He was disgusting. His flat lined monotone voice from the beginning evolved into a psycho of sorts. Imagine how HORRIBLE and what percentage of people he is aggressively going after... and verbally abusing them...and POSSIBLY SUCCEEDING in getting MONEY out them!!!!!! HORRIFIC! I want him prosecuted. I hope as many people as possible join forces and shut this shameful operation down! I only wish I could have recorded how vulgar, crude and judgmental he became once I broke through his bluff...it was genuinely scary...

Same here... a guy named Mark Collins...on 1-9-2017 threatened that my tax returns were going to be taken if I didn't cough up 9K within THREE days...lol... dumb (****) even came back with a line indicating Wells Fargo was still prosecuting me after I had told him my bankruptcy had been discharged back in Jan-2015 I can only hope that everyone reports this genuine abusive thief.
