I've gotten two calls from this number:"Hi this is Joe calling about a disability claim that you were trying to make. Can you hear me ok?" First time I said you have the wrong number, the caller then immediately hung up. The second time I asked what organization he was calling from. He said Helping Hands Association". I said that I didn't know anything about a disability claim and then he immediately hung up.
"Hi this is Josh from Emergency Medical Alert Systems. Can you hear me?" "Great. Our records show you fall into an age group that is prone to falls"
Caller ID said Palm Inc. So I kept saying "Are you from Palm?" They finally hung up.
Palm has been out of business for a few years now.
This company is obviously preying on senior citizens offering emergency medical devices to unsuspecting seniors. If they were a legit company they wouldn't hide behind a defunct company's caller id, they would leave a message, and they call back using so many different numbers.
I missed a call from this number. I Called it back and a message played saying ,"thanks for calling customer service" then it promoted me to enter 1 or 2. To put my number on a do not call list. It didn't say for what it does not give any company name. It has to be a phishing scam. This isn't the first phone number I have called with this type of generic message.
This number just called me but I didn't pick up I figured it was another scam call I hate that they call me everyday do they have anything better to do ?
Block these numbers too... the messages they leave are always blank. Never give a name or why they're calling, but they call multiple times through out the day with these different phone numbers, sometimes calls one right after the other.
