Just got a call from them. They knew the make and model of the vehicle, and wanted me to put a $550 deposit down on a new insurance plan. When I asked for a return number so I could verify them before I gave them money, they made up a bunch of nonsense about why they couldn't give it to me and they had to get the deposit now. I told him I'd put him on hold, then put the phone down but didn't hang up, and left.
Just received a call that went like this: she says, "this is a follow up call and we would like to know the mileage on your most recently purchased vehicle," I say, "which vehicle is that as in make and model since you said this is a follow up call?", and she couldn't say because she didn't know. This is a company that is trying to sell you coverage for your vehicle and apparently if I didn't give my mileage, my coverage would be nonexistent even though I don't have coverage with them. Bogus call, don't get sucked in by the telemarketers.
