Computer call that calls our business. If we hang-up, this computer-woman keeps on talking & ties up our line. The call is really annoying while trying to run a business.I would like to know how you tell a computer to put us on your do not call list!
3-6-08 @ 12:57pm got a call from 1-408-651-8165. Recording said the woman's name was "Bridget" from MERCHANT SERVICES and to press'1' to speak to her directly or '2' to be taken off list. I pressed '1' and a man named "George" answered and said "Thanks for contacting Merchant Global Services". I asked him what thier mailing address was and he said he would give me the web address but not the mailing address. I told him that he needed to give me the address as I needed to contact thier legal representitive as they had just broken the law of Washington State - It is illegal to call someone using an electronic device, recording etc to sell goods or services. He hung up on me. The area code is for CALIFORNIA more specifically Coranado CA - which is where I keep getting recorded calls from the Small Business Network. One of THIER numbers is 1-408-866-6270. That recording uses "Kathy".
