I received call on my cell phone from this number. He indicated that my BMW warranty is expired and asked if I wanted to "reclassify" my VIN. I told him my warranty had not expired. He said it was only good for a year, it is expired, sorry to tell you that. He said "we will take care of reclassifying your VIN for you" and hung up the phone.
Call received on my cell phone from this number. Caller said he was calling from the "warranty [something] center" and said the warranty on my BMW had expired and asked if I wanted to purchase an extended warranty. Considering I bought the car used with no warranty it was obvious that this was a bogus call. He had my name, cell phone number, year, make and model of car correct though. I asked him a couple of questions without giving out any information, including asking him to repeat where he was calling from. He used typical telemarketer tactics, attempting to redirect the conversation and repeating exactly what he had just said. Reported to the National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov
I received a call from this number just a few minutes ago. When I Google'd it this blog came up. The Asian woman on the line asked for my significant other but hung up on me when I asked who was calling. Of course, the number is a non-functioning number when I call back.
These people call me at least once a week on car I haven't owned in 5 years. I have asked them every time to remove me from the list and they don't. They are calling my cell phone too. Next time they call I'm going to find out the name and address of this company to file a formal complaint.
