This [***] and obvious criminal identified himself as an IRS officer. The first time he called I wasn't home, so he left a message urging me to call for the details of my arrest warrant. That time my caller ID said that call was from San Jose, CA. So, I called and nobody answered. Tried several more times and nobody answered. Later on, a call came in with the same number, but this time my caller ID said Sharon Wood. So, I began a conversation with this criminal and he gave me a male name of John McDonald, with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent. I told him that I'm still waiting to be arrested and requested to speak to his supervisor. He hung up. I called again, made the same request and said that he was out, so, I asked for his name. He repeated he was out. I said that out or not, he can still give me his name and title. He said he can't disclose that information. I told him that federal employee names, title, and salary are public information. He hung up. He doesn't know he called a federal law enforcement officer. Obviously a criminal with criminal intentions. I don't owe a penny to the IRS. The IRS doesn't alert you by phone via a foreigner who refuses to give reasonable information. Do not fall for obvious scams like this one. Don't be shy to confront anyone who called your phone. These crooks are invading your peace, your home and your privacy, getting information from them is your best weapon to report them to your local FBI and the FCC. My residence is in the East coast. Why would an IRS agent or officer from California be calling me instead of my Regional IRS Office?

Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan to begin with.  They really have no clue what state is where, what numbers correspond exactly, let alone what our laws and how the agency's really work are.  They are using a lot of numbers and some of them are from Washington DC itself, others are different states around the country.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

The callers are in India and Pakistan--they are beyond anyone' s reach.  Call blocker might help.

Got a call from this leach today it's an IRS scam that's been around for awhile. The IRS will never ever initiate contact over the phone. They will send to you in the mail.then you contact them. Sad to say that a lot of people still fall for this.
