Received a call from this number. Voice message came on and said to call my lawyer and get in touch with number they gave. Said they were the IRS to call this number (408) 789-6598. I didn't check my messages for a week and got the same message again this time the phone number was 408 789 6597. I just tried both numbers disconnected....obviously a scam. The IRS only contacts you through US Mail.
HAHAHa... called back the answering person claimed "This is the IRS . How may I help You?' I asked for his Agents Number. He Said "I got it at home." I told him this is enroll Agent ###### I want you Agent Number.? he hung up... LOL
Got a voicemail from 4087896598 from someone claiming to be from the IRS. Was told to get in touch immediately or risk legal action. Clearly BS; looked up the number, no connection to IRS.
