Have been getting calls multiple times a week for at least two months. ATT on the caller ID and *69 gives you the #408-865-9464. After them hanging up on me every time I answer, I decided to call back. If you call that number, you will get another recording, you can leave them a message, I did today. Hopefully they take you off the list after leaving them a message. I called AT&T who is not affiliated and is basically clueless to it. After looking on the internet and seeing they affiliated themselves with the sheriffs, I wanted to see if the sheriff's office has any knowledge of it. Both AT&T and the Sheriff's Dept. took my info and said they would investigate .....
Have received multiple calls from caller ID: SBC Messaging
* they say "cannot talk to you because of server error" then hang up
* they say "Santa Clara County Peace Officer" then hang up
Call to action on 4088659464 who has been calling me off and on for the past month. Really annoying. Go to www.sjpd.org/records and select "File a Report Online" The San Jose Police Department will not open an investigation until there are 10 reports.
I will file reports with both the FTC and the SJPD. The Do Not Call list is a joke.
I am so sick of these and other jerks that continue to call my phone every day for NO GOOD REASON.
The block feature provided by my phone service has a limit. My list is full and my phone service will not expand it, but that is a different issue.
I'd like to report repetitive calls on my office phone from 408-865-9464. The caller ID shows SBC Messaging. This has been typically every other day or so and has lasted for two months now. There appears to be no one on the other end.
Caller ID showed SBC messaging and the 408 865 9464 number. I asked him how he got my number, since it is unlisted(I pay extra for that)and he said auto-dialer. I promptly told him to delete my number from his data base...and he said "ahhhh well ok". Yeah right. I'm blocking these people!! Thank goodness for that. Didn't they pass a law stopping these scam artists? Maybe someone should call
