They keep calling with lots of noise in the background!!!! No message and very rude if I do answer.....told them to stop calling but they keep calling!!!
NEVER, I REPEAT , NEVER GO ON THE INTERNET AND SEARCH FOR INSURANCE QUOTES. I GET CALLS EVERY DAY FROM BOGUS CRAP NUMBERS !!!! i AM SICK TO DEATH OF THIS. THE MISTAKE IS PUTTING YOUR PHONE # IN TO GET A QUOTE, BUT YOU CAN'T GET ONE WITHOUT PUTTING IN A PHONE #. IT'S A CATCH 22. I NEVER ANSWER IF I DON'T KNOW THE # , THEN I TURN AROUND LOOK UP THE # AND BLOCK IT.
I have started answering the phone when these numbers call as: Sheriff's Department, State District Attorney's Office. Federal Prosecutor's Office, FBI, etc... they hang up real quick and after several times of them doing this they don't call back. Then they use different spoofed numbers and I do the same thing. They even said they were calling for my Grandmother, guess they forgot to go online and look up names of people they are calling, grandparents have been deceased for over 20 years...... Not very bright people.
Called me twice today. I don't answer calls I don't recognize but came to this website to check it out. Guess what, they called again while I was checking it out and sure enough, nothing but random noise in the background. Called the number back and got a recording to stay on the line. I hung up.
Just got a call from this number while logging the 5 other unwanted calls rec'd in the last few hours into our electronic database of the numbers we have blocked.
I didn't pick up and am not sure if this is a health care quote scam or an alarm selling scam, but am grateful to everyone who provides helpful info on this website!
