Man with accent and poor English skills (slurred his words to the point where he sounded drunk) phoned twice for an executive who is no longer on site.  The third time, claiming to be from Stamford University (!), he requested a marketing manager at another location.  He wished to invite her to a seminar in any which way but writing, per company policy.  We sparred for a while, he mentioned calling back, and I said the results wouldn't be any different before hanging up.
