Called my work line, but good thing for Caller ID. I didn't pick up, nor was there any message left. These people, or types of people/companies, should be hung by their thumbs, and subjected to their own handiwork.
These guys (one called Alan apparently) just called my company several times - the first few times they wanted to speak to the IT manager and said they were from Microsoft. They wanted to send an invite to a webinar - he got quite shirty when I wouldn't give him an email address. Called back, said the same thing, I told them to basically b*gger off. They called back about 10 minutes later wanting to speak to the marketing manager and magically the company name had changed to something else (didn't catch what it was).
When I questioned them and asked them to give me their website address, otherwise I wouldn't be handing out any information, they promptly hung up. They tried calling about another 6 times, which I ignored, but they didn't leave any voicemail messages.
