This same thing happened to me. They called me about some legal something-or-other that I know I don't have. I didn't answer them, but they left a voice mail. In it, they said the call was for someone named Nicki or something. I just got a new phone number, so I thought that it was maybe for whoever had my number before, but I know better now.
Ok. I keep getting the same kind of call. They even said they were filing theft on me for a payday loan back in 2012. This is not true. I have not received a payday loan. Is everyone else getting the same type of calls
Been going back and forth with these guys. They left me alone for a few days but called yesterday and left me a voice mail. I decided to screw with them. After wasting about 10 minutes of their time arguing with them I finally decided to tell them I was ready to settle. I was transfered to someone who was ready for my credit card info. When they told me to read them my card number I said 4321 Go F@#$ Yourself. After about 10 seconds of silence I asked if I needed to repeat it. She said yes so I said my card number is 4321 Go F@#$ Yourself. She said thank you and have a nice day. A guy immediately called me back and said that all calls are recorded, which by law they have to tell you when they first start talking to you or they are breaking the law. However I told him I hope and pray that they are recording me and that I would want nothing more than to go to court with them.
Just got a call from the 409-203-2835 number saying we owe 1000 in interest and back fees from 2010 from a bank account we never had in 2010. They are a scam.
