Left a message threatening to have an arrest warrant issued for me if I didn't take care of some matter immediately. so upon calling back they just picked up the phone and did not identify the name of their company so when I demanded the name of the company I was hung up on multiple times. finally one gentleman that answered first spoke in an unknown language and then identified the company as being the IRS.. Scam..
"There is an arrest warrant out for you. Please call immediately." Blah Blah Blah. Say they are someone named "Alex Brown" from the IRS in creepy computer automated male voice. Called on May 16th at 1932 from Hitchcock, TX.
Same message was left on my voicemail TWICE! It said (and I quote... i.e. Copied the transcription of the message from visual voicemail dictation) "Under your name there are some serious charges has been pressed against you so before anything goes wrong or before we track down your case file to your local police department in order to get arrested ___ all these charges I want you to call us back as soon as possible at my department call back number which is 409-440-4666 I repeat again 409-440-4666 this is Alex Brown again from investigation department of internal revenue service" I have not attempted to call the # back, nor to I!! This has scam written all over it in BOLD letters!!!
