I received multiple calls from this number per day. They do not leave a message and half the time hang up when I attempt to call back. I got one on the line today and listened to him talk about sending me information on solar panels and requesting my e-mail address. I politely told him that I had made multiple request to be removed from his call list and he said no this is just information. When I was persistent that the information was unsolicited and that I didn't want any more calls he responded by saying F*(& you and then hung up on me. These people do nothing but harass people and are very unprofessional. I called the number back and it did have a recorded message that gave an option to removed from their call list so hopefully that works and they will stop harassing me.
Unfortunately that isn't where they are located. That is just where the re-routed call is coming out from. These scammers are all calling from overseas, either the Middle East or India and are using a robocalling system, and basically re-routing their call from an overseas/international number through a domestic number, this way it doesn't look like someone from India is calling you, but instead someone from a US area code.
Its why blocking the number or adding your number to the Do Not Call List does nothing to prevent these people from calling you. They have hundreds of phone numbers that they re-route through and once they know that your number is valid you are added to their robocall list. As it doesn't matter if you answer the call, cause if you're voicemail kicks in they know its an actual person's number and not a business or fax line.
These people are scammers and identity thieves who will never stop calling and the phone companies do not care because they make money from these calls. Its no different then someone calling an 800 number, as it re-routes to wherever the companies want the calls to go.
All you can do is block the number (if your phone is able to) to stop receiving the calls. Unfortunately, you block 1 number and they call your from 3 other numbers. I constantly get these calls on my cell phone and I must have blocked at least 50+ numbers by now, but the calls keep coming.
I get calls from this number many times each day. I called it back and a recording said to put the number on a do not call list then press 1 I have done that to no avail
Telemarketers call all day many times all hours tried being nice got nasty and they get nasty back or rudely hang up STOP IF I NEEF SOMETHING I GO OUT SNF GET IT AMD DONT MAKE DECISIONS OVER THE PHONE!!!!
