This person identifed themselves as Micheal Kenneday and said they were filing charges against me in court. When I asked him to identify himself with an attorney number or extension, he began shouting saying that he did not have to identify himself. So I asked for the phone number and checked them out on google and got this site. Thanks for the information you are storing about these thieves.
Agreed! When time allows I too play games with them. Don't be fooled with their threats. They are scammers. Immediately discredit the call if the person has a thick Indian or Pakistan accent that you can not understand. A real collection attorney will speak very clear english.
No need to worry - your callers are scammers. Debt is civil, not criminal, so even if you did default on a loan, you are not going to be arrested for fraud or end up in jail. Don't give your callers the time of day.
