Caller ID comes up at B Patel. Answered the phone with our standard, "Hi, this is the _______! So and so speaking. How may I help you?" And got silence.... Called back to make sure it wasn't one of our clients and got placed on hold and when the guy answered the line, he said "Legal Department." Great, "For what company?" "CVRP", maybe "BBRP" Me: "Ok.... Someone called me but didn't say anything." Him: "Let me check your number. I don't see anything, did they leave a message?" Me: "No. I just said someone called and said nothing. PRRRROOOOOBABLY because this is a business line. Not a personal one." Him: "Oh. well then.... disregard." hahahaha. Scam scam scam.
They contacted my sister in another state from another number. Contacted my boyfriend, mom, dad and finally they called my actual phone. Stating first I had a complaint against me and now I some how have 2 complaints and threating to come to home or place of buisness and my rights are now waived if I do not contact them first. My boyfriend had this happen a few years back and they would send no paperwork etc. When asked they just wanted money....this girl is not falling for it! I have no complaints against me!
Looks like a scam debt collector got a list and a new phone number to call from! They left a message and never mentioned who the call was from or for. The real debt collectors reference names and the name of their company, etc. Total scam job. I thought these guys started to disappear the past couple years but I guess they are back.
