Caller ID comes up at B Patel. Answered the phone with our standard, "Hi, this is the _______! So and so speaking. How may I help you?" And got silence.... Called back to make sure it wasn't one of our clients and got placed on hold and when the guy answered the line, he said "Legal Department." Great, "For what company?" "CVRP", maybe "BBRP" Me: "Ok.... Someone called me but didn't say anything." Him: "Let me check your number. I don't see anything, did they leave a message?" Me: "No. I just said someone called and said nothing. PRRRROOOOOBABLY because this is a business line. Not a personal one." Him: "Oh. well then.... disregard." hahahaha. Scam scam scam.
They called my sister phone looking for me they said that I had a Well Fargo bill that will cost me 3,000 if I have to go to court.... THIS IS A SCAM!!
Same message as all the others below. I've had the same scam tried on me from 2 or three other numbers, some local, some coastal. They all say approximately the same thing. I love messing with them. They usually stop calling you back once they realize you're not going to hand over your SSN or a credit card number. Or when you act all crazy if you get a chance to talk to someone.
