Answered the call. Sounded like it was an open line in a call center or something because I could hear background conversations. No one responded to me after saying hello several times. So, I hung up. I assume it was a sales call, but can't confirm it.
Called asking for the person in charge of the BG&E account. I told him we do not HAVE an account with BG&E, we have Pepco. He apologized, said he was "looking at the wrong screen". He proceeded to ask if I had noticed an insert in our last bill about a rate reduction. I said no. He said that's okay, many people don't notice it, and he wanted to make sure we receive our discount. Continued to talk over me as I said, "where are you calling from?" "no thank you" and "I'm going to hang up now"
this caller was very invasive when I tried to find out who they were they would not tell me in anytime I would ask them a question they would try to just give me the runaround but they never would give me a straight answer but they did say there was some BG&E program I think it's a scam stay away from them
