I got a call last on 06/01/2013 at 9:51a.m. I want them to stop harassing me. They never leave a message I just look at the caller I.D and by the way leave me the hell alone. When a person don't answer after a couple times that means they are not going to answer, the phone company should be held responsible for this foolishness.
Just received all from them using a Maryland number but "unknown caller." They said they were the American Veterans Support Foundation our something like that, and wanted to send me a support kit to make a contribution. Have never heard of them and told them I wasn't interested.
No name on the caller ID, but since the number was local I answered it. No response on the other end.
I decided to call back. Answered by someone who thanked me for calling back, said he was representing the Fraternal Order of Police and the call was being recorded. I interrupted his spiel to say that I was glad we were being recorded as I wanted him to take my number off their list because I only do business like this through the mail, NEVER over the phone. I think he dropped the line before I had even finished my sentence. If it were legitimate I would have expected him to acknowledge my request.
