I got a call from an Indian/Pakistani sounding man claiming to be with Microsoft Windows. He said they have a report that my computer has been infected for the past couple of weeks. He wanted to walk me through some steps to fix the problem. It sounded like a scam so I didn't do it. I asked how he knew it was my computer. He said something about my computer's online identification. I didn't think of it at the time, but I should have asked him which computer he was talking about. We have more than one in my household.

I received a call from someone with a heavy accent claiming to be from 'Windows". I don't use any Windows systems and said so. He promptly hung up. Obviously some sort of scam.
