January 22, 2016 - I got a live call with a caller ID of 410-482-0125, which appeared twice in caller, i.e. it also appeared where the name of the company should be. The woman said her name was Maribelle calling for the "Solar Research Group" to see if I qualified for residential solar energy. The same company had called 3 days ago at my same number which is on the national do not call list, and hung up me when I started to ask questions.
I spent about 10 minutes with "Maribelle" to get her to say that she calls on behalf of 5 solar companies, and the 2 they work with in my area (Maryland) are Vivint and Trinity. I already got calls from Vivint about a year ago. I got her to live transfer me to someone from Trinity, which is an actual solar company in NJ. Trinity Solar wanted to set up an appointment. Trinity Solar's number is 800-373-9100.
When I called the number on my caller ID - 410-482-0125 - I got a prerecorded woman's voice saying the number was not in service. The same number was on my Caller ID 3 days ago when I got the first call from the "Solar Research Group."
