FYI - I won't donate over the phone for several reasons:
1) you can not verify the identity of the individual who called you
2) you can not verify the name of the company or organization they claim to be or represent either
And once you give them your info, your screwed!!
Just my opinion, if you don't reconize the phone number don't answer the phone and if no VM is left, the call wasn't important to begin with. Most companies with whom you do business with, including family and friends will leave a message.
Deep male voice saying this is Fraternal Order of Police Lodge number...and call may be recorded. I really don't appreciate the scare tactics. Going to block this caller. It's a fundraiser or scam.
Called me, for the first time, twice on 9/22/15 at 2:27PM, edt and 8:21PM, edt and, again, on 9/27/15 at 5:17PM, edt. I'll never answer, but they won't quit, I suppose, or they'll try another CID. I know that usually harassing calls, in my own state, are either politics or FOP, however, I've learned that the FOP groups are mostly scammers.
