I have also received a call from this number (410) 929-7381 with the caller ID showing Daniel Bitzel. I decided to let it go to voicemail, but no voicemail was left. That made me suspicious. The caller is not legitimate. I am blocking that number.
The DNC is as useless as the other DNC. It's a govt entity that employs people and does NOTHING! The only solution is to sue the phone companies that own that particular number.
Or......You can sue the particular phone company that OWNS the number attached to the scammers. If enough people sued these [***] phone companies then the problem would disappear!

Um... probably not, unless you can prove the company is willfully aiding & abetting a crime.
Phone companies are "common carriers".
That means they must allow everybody to use their services, unless the company is notified by law enforcement that the user is committing crimes.

So, the phone company cannot universally block a number merely because YOU complain ... however, they might give you the ability to block those calls to YOUR phone. Even better, you can protect yourself, by using a call blocking phone, app or other device.
Do not depend on others to enforce rules or policies YOU invent! Protect yourself!
Great info. Slim. It still amazes me how many people still don't get how the DNC works ! ( its for legit companies,etc..Can't do anything about crooks,scammers,phishers, & whatever that don't pay attention to laws! )
Rec'd. call from Daniel Bitzel also,left no message. What is the point of calling people and not saying anything ? Has to be they're looking for ' live ',working numbers ? Then we'll get calls from every scum bucket out there !!?
