Not message left, but got a call n 8/1/2016 and 8/2 from this number. Comes up as Unknown Caller. Now that I know what they are, going to have some fun with these people. I do have PPL and I will not give out my account number to these poop heads.
Whomever they are, they're persistent as well as annoying. Called twice in one day, once at 5:35 PM (dinnertime), and again at 8:15 PM (primetime). The entire area code is blocked.
Ann Noid says her electric company told her this kind of pest call is legal. I do not see how it can be. Whatever -- these pests cannot be trusted, do NOT do any business with cold callers. There is a web site for "electric choice" scam in deregulated PA. Be sure you know whether they can switch terms of agreement during contract, and avoid them if they can . A good rate today can morph overnight into a very bad rate! Anyway, these scammers call from 412-200-1971 AND from 412-200-1964 (and probably others as well :-(
