I have been receiving email messages along with telephone calls from the say number and individuals (James McDougal and Steven Peters.) Today one of them had to nerve to contact my employer. I have contacted the scammers back to inform them I will be filing a complaint with my local law enforcement. I also brought my employer up to speed about the scam. She requested that the caller send her something in writing via email as of this evening nothing has been received. This is outrageous and unacceptable. People really need to get jobs and stop trying to scam people out of the hard earned money.
I called the number back. A man answered the phone "processing". I said someone called my # he said let me check. Said yes we are looking for... I said ok. He asked is this...I asked what would you like? He said I don't want anything but for security purposes I need to make sure I'm speaking to the correct...is this the...whose ssn ends in ....? I replied I don't give out my social for any reason. He got angry and yelled ok I will just swear out a warrant for your arrest for a bad check on...bank. See you in court and slammed the phone down on me. He did have the last 4 of my social and my bank correct but o have NOT written a bad check ever.
