I have been receiving email messages along with telephone calls from the say number and individuals (James McDougal and Steven Peters.) Today one of them had to nerve to contact my employer. I have contacted the scammers back to inform them I will be filing a complaint with my local law enforcement. I also brought my employer up to speed about the scam. She requested that the caller send her something in writing via email as of this evening nothing has been received. This is outrageous and unacceptable. People really need to get jobs and stop trying to scam people out of the hard earned money.
This was a guy said his name was Stephen. He called and told my mentally handicapped son that he was in trouble with the law. Told him to tell them his name, social security number, etc. He even told my son they had private investigators in our area! Luckily he didn't get any information. When I called back, Stephen was threatening to me as well, and hung up on me when I wouldn't give him any information. This is absolutely a scam, do not give or confirm any information to them. Said their company was Advance America.
