Charles Platt wanted to speak with the owner or president of the company regarding a GSA contract with the federal government. He refused to give any further details and finally hung up when I told him the main office was overseas. He was plenty pushy at first but sounded pretty dumb when I pointed out what anybody with half a brain should know. Let's see: area code 412 is Pittsburgh, PA. ???
Well, he just called our office. When I saw the caller ID prior to answering, I knew it wasn't for any of our employees so I answered as though at home. He was not polite and very pushy.
Just got a call from "Bryce" at extension 3012 offering basically the same services as described by others on this thread. Typically, these marketing companies are trying to sell a listing in a book that nobody ever reads.
I just got a call from "Ed" (ext. 3008) who repeated the line "I'm looking to speak with the owner, president or otherwise person responsible about a 5 year GSA contract with the Federal Government." every time I pressed for more information. As he was reluctant to give out further info, I played the old 'fake transfer, not available' and he was happy enough to end the call at that. Didn't push for any other directors. This guy ain't likely to hit his quota!
Just got a call from "Allen" at ext. 3002 asking to speak to the owner. When I asked what this was in reference to he asked for the owner again. Finally, he told me his name and ext. after several tries. Said it was in reference to GSA government contract. Told him I would have to have the owner call him because he was not in. Yeah, you can bet that is going to happen
