Technically, this wasn't spam, but neither was it really solicited. It came from a job recruiter at Maxim Staffing. About 2 years ago, I posted my resume on careerbuilders.com,  which was a huge mistake because they don't seem to make any attempt to screen the people who want to look at it. So, I was deluged with calls from recruiters. Most had positions related to my field, but those that I was qualified for really sucked. The other job offers varied wildly and altho I could have done most, they really sucked. I wasn't looking for another job in customer service, but recruiters often had a position in customer "relations" or " satisfaction" that had a "high potential for monthly bonuses" and "rapid advancement for an individual with the right customer skills". The first few times I took the bait, but when I finally pried some details out of the recruiter, I could see that they weren't looking for one person, they probably hired several every day - as telemarketers.

I removed my resume when I realized that it was never going to produce a real job, but like celebrity porn, it was already scattered across the internet, so I'm still getting calls. I had a feeling this was Maxim but they use so many different numbers I let it go to voice mail. Sure enuf, they had a new rinky dink offer. I actually started to take one of their offers, but you work for them and get farmed out as a temp, and after reading the employee TOS, I backed out immediately. To work for them, you have to give up all your rights, incl. your right nut.

Well, that was a total waste of time and effort! NO ONE will ever read it.
DUH!!!

Oh, well. It's not as tho I have a campaign to run, or a pack of lies to defend, or both. Hey, this could become my own private time capsule!
I predict, for 2016 POTUS: D. Trump. But he thinks he'll actually be in control of the country, so he'll quit after a year, out of total frustration. VPOTUS T.C. will have already been lynched by an angry mob. (This is just a story, folks. I'm not advocating a damn thing - other than all lives matter equally.) Going down the chain of command, no one will want the job, until it falls on Sen. Lindsey Graham, who's probably the best qualified GOP anyway. Being a DEM, I could never vote for him myself, but the thought of him in the Oval Office doesn't trigger a panic attack, and he's actually a pretty damn bright and likable guy.

OK, time capsule message. Got your number in my contacts, so I'll check in on you every now and again. If nothing else, I'll catch you on the flip side.
