I have received numerous phone calls from these jerks!!! Threatening me and telling me I am a fraud and if I pay them then everything will disappear. I demanded them to send me the info in the mail and they REFUSED. Luckily they have not called me from work.
They are so rude to me and honestly have had me terrified I almost gave them money but luckily people that I work told me NO MATTER what do not send them anything. Thank god I didn't. I don't want them to keep calling me though.
The man that is calling me keeps telling me his name is Andrew Johnson and i can hardly understand him. Once I start asking him questions and being rude back he then hands the phone over to his buddy. This is not OK at all and I am so upset that they are taking advantage of so many people. How do we make them stop?
Got a call twice today at my workplace from this number. Says the man's name is Jack Parker and he has a thick "Indian" accent. He is very abusive and keeps saying that it's a legal matter that I need to call him and if I don't call him God Help me but if I do call him he can help me. I don't have any associations with him and have NO idea what he is talking about. He is hard to understand and keeps threatening legal action when I have no involvement with illegal activities at all. He also called my work number, but not my home number, so something is weird. I am suspicious that this is just a scam which is why I am reporting it.
I am continually getting a phone call at work from this number. It is always a man with a very heavy indian accent to the point that I can not understand a word he is saying at most times. First, they claimed that they were a investigation office and that I had a debt from back in 2004. They kept changing the amount for me to send them to keep their file open. They state that it is for a pay day loan off the internet. After I did some research on my own I came to the conclusion that it was impossible. I have not had a checking account since 2003 and that is the only way a pay day loan can transfer money to you. They refused to sent me any paperwork on the matter telling me what this was for, but claim that if I did not pay an extravogant amount that I would be arrested. I talked to a bank, the police department, and a lawyer. They all said that if you request information on the case they have to give it to you especially if they are going as far as claiming to file charges and arrest you. The police department says that technically they would not arrest me on this matter. It would have to go to court before that would even happen. I have a clean record, I have never been arrested on any illegal actions in my life. The president of my company called this phone number as well and he said that they were quite short with him and rude and stated that I signed a paper saying that my company was liable for this matter, but refused to even send them anything verifying that account. My company as well as myself have made the authorities aware of the situation and are reporting this phone number and this apparent company.
I am a genuine person that has never been convicted or been a part of a crime. These people scared me because I had no idea what it was about and I am a single mom. The first thing that goes through my head is my kids.
Whenever I did call them back they answered the phone "Hello". No company name or anything. Even when I stated not to call my work they ignored it. They refused to call me at home and continued to call me at work. This is not a collector's actions or a legal person's actions. Technically, they are not suppose to call you at work when you state to talk about the matter outside of work.
Got a call today from the same number, same heavy Indian accent. Threatend to take legal action against me at my workplace and wanted to know my relationship with another person. Told me this person is under crimminal investigation and they need to know my relationship with this person. When I said I was not going to answer his questions without legal representation and that he has to identify himself first, he hung up on me. What he didn't realize is that my work voice mail is virtual and recorded and may be used as evidence in a court of law. I want to report this company. Something is not right and when I read these other two emails stating the same thing happened to them, I know something is terribly wrong.
Yes, they say you will go to jail, threaten legal action but that they cannot do anything. I suspect that they have been given or bought old debts so they think they can collect on them. Do not, I repeat, do not give them any personal info, do not let them convince you that they can take you to court, how can they if they are out of the US. File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, www.ftc.gov. File a complaint with your state attorney general also.These idiots are scammers and jokers, users and losers. They also give the # 602-354-9190.
I call and harass them, give them a dose of their own medicine, who they gonna report it to...lol.
I received a call today from this number on my personal cell phone. The caller ID indicated "unavailable" and the message that was left was just like the ones listed above in this post. If this company was calling on a legitimate debt, they need to leave identifying information. This is a scam. I'm upset at how they found my personal cell phone number.
