Got a call twice today at my workplace from this number. Says the man's name is Jack Parker and he has a thick "Indian" accent. He is very abusive and keeps saying that it's a legal matter that I need to call him and if I don't call him God Help me but if I do call him he can help me. I don't have any associations with him and have NO idea what he is talking about. He is hard to understand and keeps threatening legal action when I have no involvement with illegal activities at all. He also called my work number, but not my home number, so something is weird. I am suspicious that this is just a scam which is why I am reporting it.
I, too, received several phone calls from this man who identified himself as "Paul Wilson" with a very thick and heavy INDIAN accent. He said that I was being sued and needed my personal information. I said no and hung up on him. I knew that it was not legitimate because if it was, he wouldn't have to ask me that - besides I don't owe anybody any money besides my brother who let me borrow $20 last week! After entering his phone number on the Internet and finding this website I knew it was some kind of scam. He called me again five times after the first time I hung up on him (this was before I found this website) and with each call he continued to scream and yell at me not to ignore him. Click. Don't let this guy scare or get to you - he's just a bully trying to scam you!
Got a call from this number today, very thick accent could not understand what he was saying most of the time. Threatened my husband with jail time(My husabnd is in Iraq in the military) and told me to borrow someones credit card by 4:00 today to send them money. Not sure what his name was but he tried to tell me that he was from financial crimes divison and that if I paid him the money today they would keep they case out of court. This has got to be a scam but what scares me is that he has my husband SS#. Do not give these people any mooney, by law if someone is trying to collect a debt they have to first state that, then they have to under the law give you written info and this company would not.
I to got a call from this man saying he was "OFFICER Williams" BAD INDIAN Acent. SAID I HAD A CREDIT CARD DEBT. I HAVE ABSOLUTLEY NO CREDIT CARD ON MY CREDIT REPORT . HOW DO YOU STOP THIS ? ITS CAUSING ME AND MY HUSBAND PROBLEMS !!
I received numerous phone calls from this man with a very thick "Indian" accent. He has been calling my workplace at least five times a day and leaving threatening messages.The messages indicated that It was a legal matter. "legal action" is what he said. He said it was over some pay day loan that was never payed off since 2001. Right there I knew it was a scam. When I implied that you have no paperwork to back this allegation they claimed that they will have a police officer come to my house or my workplace before 11:00am with some paperwork. It was a scam. It never happened.He would always say "God help me" after every sentence. These people really scared me when I got the phone call. This man referred himself as David Marshall. When does this stop? How do we stop these people from calling our work place and cell phones?
